Hearth – Privacy Policy
Hearth ("the app") is a home-screen launcher published by Airiz. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. In short: we do not collect, store or share any personal data. Everything stays on your phone.
Information we collect
None. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Nothing you do in Hearth is sent to us or to anyone else.
Your list of apps
As a launcher, Hearth reads the list of apps installed on your phone so it can show them and open them. This list is used only on your device, to display your home screen and app list. It is never sent anywhere.
Information stored on your device
Your settings (theme, home-screen apps, renamed and hidden apps, mindful apps, gestures and display options), how many times you opened each mindful app today, and whether you have unlocked Hearth Pro are stored only on your device. Android may include them in your own device backup if you have backups turned on. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes them.
Optional permissions
Some features are off until you turn them on, and each one asks for its own permission. All of them work entirely on your device:
- Screen time today uses Android's usage access to add up how long you used apps today. Only the total is shown; nothing is stored or shared.
- Notification dots uses notification access to count unread notifications per app. Hearth only keeps the count, in memory, and never reads or stores what your notifications say.
- Double tap to lock uses an Android accessibility service only to lock the screen when you double tap the home screen, and to open the notification shade when you swipe down. It does not read your screen or collect any data.
- Mindful reminders use the notification permission to send a gentle "time's up" note on your device when the time you chose for an app is over.
Purchases
Hearth Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Google Play under Google's own privacy policy. We never receive your payment details. The app only learns whether the purchase was completed, so it can unlock Pro features.
Network requests and third-party services
Hearth makes no network requests of its own. All fonts and graphics are built in. The only exceptions are purchase requests to Google Play, and opening a web page or search in your browser when you ask for it (for example "Search the web" in the app list, or this policy).
Children
The app is a general-purpose launcher and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
