Hollyday – Privacy Policy
Hollyday ("the app") is a Christmas and event countdown with daily doors and home-screen widgets, published by AIRIZ (PVT) LTD. This policy explains what information is involved when you use it. In short: we (AIRIZ) do not collect or store any personal information. Your countdowns and settings stay on your device. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google collects some device data to show them.
Information we collect
None. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in and no servers of ours. We do not run our own analytics.
Information stored on your device
- The countdowns you add: their names, dates and marks.
- Which daily doors you have opened.
- Your settings: scene, days or sleeps, seconds, and which countdown the widget shows.
- Whether you have unlocked Hollyday Pro.
- Whether you turned on daily reminders, and at what hour.
The home-screen widget reads the chosen countdown's name and date from the app's own storage on your device. Android or iOS may include this data in your own device backup. Uninstalling the app deletes everything.
Reminders and sharing
If you turn on daily reminders, the app schedules them on your phone with the system's own notification service. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, and you can turn them off in Settings or in your phone's notification settings.
When you tap Share, the app draws a picture of your countdown on your phone and hands it to the app you choose (for example a messaging app). It goes only where you send it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
If you have not bought Hollyday Pro, the app shows ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner under the countdown, an optional video you can choose to watch to open tomorrow's door early, and an occasional full-screen ad when you close a door. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects information such as your device's advertising identifier, approximate location derived from your IP address, how you interact with ads, and diagnostic information. Google processes this as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
- EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland: before any ads are requested, the app shows Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy choices.
- iPhone: the app asks for permission to track (Apple's App Tracking Transparency). If you say no, ads are still shown but are less personalised. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
Ads are limited to content suitable for a general audience. The widgets never show ads. Buying Hollyday Pro turns ads off completely.
Purchases
Hollyday Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your payment details; the store only tells the app that Pro was bought.
Children
Hollyday is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
