Lanka Explorer – Privacy Policy
Lanka Explorer ("the app") is published by Airiz. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app. In short: we do not collect, store or share any personal data.
Information we collect
None. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or files.
Information stored on your device
Places you save to "My Trip" and whether you have seen the welcome screen are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes them.
Network requests and third-party services
- Photos: some destination photos are loaded from Unsplash (images.unsplash.com). As with any web request, Unsplash's servers receive your device's IP address and basic request information. See the Unsplash privacy policy.
- External links: buttons such as "Directions" and "Read more" open Google Maps or Wikipedia in another app or browser. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.
- Phone calls: emergency numbers open your phone's dialer; the app does not see or record your calls.
All network requests made by the app use encrypted HTTPS connections.
Children
The app is a general travel guide and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
