Sunstep – Privacy Policy
Sunstep ("the app") is a visual schedule, picture routine and visual timer app for children and the grown-ups who look after them, published by Airiz (Pvt) Ltd. This policy explains what happens to information when you use it. In short: we do not collect, store or share any personal data, including children's data. Everything stays on your device.
Information we collect
None. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party data-collecting software. Nothing you or your child do in Sunstep is sent to us or to anyone else. The app works fully offline.
Children's privacy
Sunstep is designed to be used by children together with a parent, carer or teacher. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. There are no ads, no chat, no links to social media and no ways to contact other people. Settings, editing, purchases and web links are behind a grown-up question that young children cannot easily answer.
Information stored on your device
Your routines and their steps, the words on each picture card, today's ticked-off steps, the star count, the optional child's first name you type for greetings, your settings, and whether you have unlocked Sunstep Pro are stored only on your device. Android or iOS may include them in your own device backup if you have backups turned on. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes them.
Photos and camera
If you choose to use your own photo for a picture card, the app opens your device's camera or photo picker. Only the photo you pick is copied into the app's private storage on your device so it can be shown on the card. Photos are never uploaded or shared, and are deleted when you remove them from every card or uninstall the app. The app cannot see any other photos in your library.
Reading aloud
Sunstep can read the words on a card aloud using your device's built-in text-to-speech voice. The words are handed to that voice on your device. Sunstep does not record audio and does not use the microphone.
Purchases
Sunstep Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your payment details. The store tells the app only whether Pro has been bought, so it can unlock it.
Sharing
We do not share any data with anyone, because we do not have any.
Not a medical device
Sunstep is a visual support tool for families and educators. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
